Yes, Westinghouse, Edison, and Rearden. But it would be most useful to have concretized and proven methods for mass market audiences to apply their judgement to this: “every brick within this place by its value to the goal of making steel. Have you been as strict about the goal which your work and your steel are serving?" And be able to begin today.

"Eating out of the trash" is what I call it when I engage in processes of "trade" which do not support production in order to "grow" my money to the point of being able to pay some or all of my bills. I am familiar with most of Rand's work and with your own elaboration upon the altruist's desire to kill in order not to know that the death he desires is his own. In particular, the practices I describe feel just like that rubber reality Dagny has to fake when Galt is captured. I have recently started doing things to make these bad habits more difficult, costly, or dangerous to fall back on in the short term, and I think it is working. All of which is to say that a person can understand something and still need to hear it. Thank you for sharing this today.
